JOB TITLE: Horticultural Manager
- Status: Full-time / Permanent
- Salary Range: $40,000 - $48,000 annually
- Location: Columbus, Ohio
Green Lawn Cemetery is seeking a Horticultural Manager to join our growing team. Candidates should have an education and experience in tree care, native landscapes or ecology, as well as experience in herbicide application and team management.
Education: B.S. in a relevant course of study. Candidates with significant experience and relevant certifications will also be considered.
Green Lawn Cemetery is a historic, rural cemetery in Columbus, Ohio that opened in 1849. It is the second largest cemetery in Ohio and has been the city’s premier burying ground since the 1800s. Its expansive grounds continue to feature a pre-European mixed oak forest, along with many historic and artistic mausoleums and monuments. The cemetery is a registered arboretum, an Ohio Audubon Important Bird Area, and home to several state champion trees. The cemetery recently completed a 7-year tree canopy restoration project.

Job Title: BILINGUAL SALES PROFESSIONAL
- Status: Full-time, 40-50 hours/week.
- Pay Potential: $60,000+ per year (including uncapped commission pay)
- Location: Columbus, Ohio
Green Lawn Cemetery is looking for a caring and compassionate sales professional that is bilingual to join our growing team. Sales experience is preferred. Insurance license is also a plus. This individual will be responsible for guiding families through the process of making their pre-need and immediate need of cemetery arrangements, products, and services. You will sit with families directly, be their point of contact, and perform administrative duties in the cemetery office. Bilingual (Spanish/English) applicants will be prioritized.
This position requires someone who is empathetic, responsible, and professional.
Demonstrated sales experience is preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish/English).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and on the telephone.
Coachable and willingness to learn.
Highly organized, detail oriented, and excellent time management skills.
Proficient in the use of computers.
Organized, detail-oriented, with solid time management skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
