Wreath Recycling Event

Volunteers are Needed to help disassemble wreaths at Green Lawn Cemetery so the evergreens can be mulched and metal wreath frames recycled.

Last month 850 Remembrance Wreaths were placed on the graves of Veterans at our annual Wreaths Across America event. We are striving to make this event more sustainable.

Volunteers should wear appropriate clothing to stay warm. Work gloves will be provided, along with warm beverages!

Meet Location: Drive through the cemetery gate at the west end of Greenlawn Avenue, proceed around the traffic circle and meet at the stone office building on your right. After a brief orientation we will caravan together back to the work site.
