The Green Lawn Cemetery Bike Tour is narrated by Randy Rogers and Matthew Wolf. A great way to traverse this 300+ acre cemetery and learn about the rich local history contained within this iconic landmark and greenspace. The cemetery is one of the oldest and largest in Ohio...and perhaps the greatest museum in Columbus!
The cemetery represents a vast treasure of history and is the resting place of many prominent U.S. and Ohio residents. The tour stops at several locations for informative talks about notable graves, monuments, mausoleums, and the Huntington Chapel. Green Lawn is also home to several state champion trees, as well as a recognized bird sanctuary.
Bring your own bike and helmet, or Outdoor Pursuits can provide them. Please indicate when you register.
Location: Please note this tour begins and ends at Green Lawn Abbey (700 Greenlawn Avenue), a short distance outside the cemetery.
